EDUCATION & SAFETY COMMITTEE

Plans and carries out industry employee training schools, management workshops and other programs to improve industry operating practices and safety education. Works with fire and emergency response personnel to plan and carry out programs directed toward safe practice and fire prevention in the industry. Prepares and issues information on safe practices through Association publications.

MARKET AWARENESS COMMITTEE

Assess the industry's needs for market promotion and development. Devises advertising and consumer education programs to meet those needs. Evaluates the results of such programs. 

MEMBER SERVICES COMMITTEE

Make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the services appropriate to satisfy the needs of the members. Promotes those services available to the membership. Reviews the classification and fitness of applicants for Association membership and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors as appropriate. Formulates and carries out membership promotion and retention programs.

Propane won't ignite when combined with air unless the source of ignition reaches at least 920 degrees Fahrenheit. In contrast, gasoline will ignite when the source of ignition reaches only 430 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
