About IPGA

The Indiana Propane Gas Association (IPGA) is a member-focused trade organization providing services that communicate, educate, and promote the propane industry in Indiana. The association was formed in 1952, to offer opportunities to learn, through training and networking with peers, and to aid with legislative issues that contribute to operating a safe and successful company. Because the industry is highly regulated, the Indiana Propane Gas Association continues to focus on education, networking, and representing the interest of Indiana propane businesses to the government, while assisting members in remaining current on important regulations in the propane industry. The Indiana Propane Gas Association is one of many state and regional propane gas associations affiliated with the National Propane Gas Association.

The Benefits of Membership

The benefits of being a member of IPGA originated from a small group of marketers who believed common goals could be best achieved through group effort. IPGA has grown considerably over the years, both in membership and scope of its activities. IPGA continues to advance the interests of its members through strong communication outreach:

  • Advocating our members' position in a unified voice on industry issues to the legislature and the public
  • Developing strong member support programs
  • Securing a strong organizational foundation for the association
  • Develop and sponsor membership education, networking and information resource opportunities that benefit our members
